This is a nice bike for touring the town without looking like you are in the Tour de France. The wide, puncture resistant tires don't get easily caught in grates or light rail in the city and absorb minor shocks well. Add fenders for all weather commutes. It won't be the fastest bike in the city, but it is quick enough to not be embarrassed.
