I purchased this bike rack, along with a new mountain bike, at my local bike shop. I needed a 3 bike rack system to transport 3 mountain bikes between our home and cabin. There is absolutely no way this 3 bike rack will hold 3 bikes. I was so disappointed in this product and was very disappointed our local bike shop even offers this to sell to the community, especially when they are selling high end bikes. Their service in selling me the correct bike to fit my needs was unbelievable, they truly went above and beyond, not so much with this bike rack. The rack seems well made but the 2 inch adapter doesn't fit a 2 inch hitch very well and it certainly doesn't hold 3 mountain bikes. It will be going back to the shop and hopefully we can grow together and they can offer the community a better product.

Haven't used this much yet but was easy to install and worked well on a 100 mile drive. Added lock helped me keep bikes on car overnight while traveling and at work!

I can not get 3 bikes with the proximity of the fasteners. I believe that if I were able to carry my 2 bikes closer to the car it would increase the stability

Comments:
My only complaint is that the straps are really stiff and can be difficult to use. The teeth on the straps dig into my hand when I try to pull them tight. Would nice if they had a pull ring on the end of the strap.

Comments:
Worked well for a Florida trip when we took 1 bike down and loaded 2 more bikes locally when there. Had a flat tire on the car on the way down and much to my delight the rack and 1 bike lifted with the trunk lid without detaching, although this is not a recommended sales point. Held on firmly without wiggle at highway speeds with firm cross winds.

Comments:
Was not stable. It moves during driving. Other than that it is good
